Proof of income for home loan

How can I get proof of income for a home loan? What are my options if I don’t have any proof of income or home address? Can I submit a copy of my most recent tax returns or provide tax transcripts from the IRS? How about bank statements? by jelmer620 from Salem, Oregon. Jan 14th 2022 Reply

Home mortgage loans require lenders prove, document, and verify income. If you are regular hourly and salary, the last 30-days of pay stubs, and at least the most recent W2. For self employed, at least the most current year, and likely two years of both business and personal tax returns. If you can't prove income that way, there are possible asset based loans (you have a LOT in the bank), or bank statement deposits for income - but you'll still need to prove that you are self employed to use bank statements. Good luck. I lend in MN WI IA SD ND. Find me at VAMortgageMN.com - Cambria Mortgage, NMLS 274132
