Problems with auto withdrawal system with our lender

I make it a point to pay our mortgage every other week since the lender set this up with an automatic withdrawal system. This means we have 2 extra payments per year which are applied fully to the principal. I recently found out that 4 payments were not applied to the principal and was placed in a column labeled “suspense.” We’ve tried talking with a customer service rep and no one seems to have the answer to our concern.
