Non-QM (not a Qualified Mortgage) is sort of like the old sub-prime loans, but not really... True NO DOC really doesn't exist, but some alternative document loans, like using bank statement deposits as qualifying income do exist IF you are self employed. But based on the limited information here, I see multiple issues. Talk to a local mortgage broker who not only offers regular loans, but also Non-QM.
