NEW FHA Requirments?
I read an article today that the FHA was going to be tightening up the requirements for their loan programs. I have been in negotiation with a lender about my loan, will I still have to adhere to the new guidelines? by jessemx9s from Miami, Florida. Nov 23rd 2010

Unfortunately, all Lenders are still tightening their credit and underwriting guidelines. We now require a 640 credit score for FHA financing. My suggestion would be to obtain an approval for your loan BEFORE the guidelines change again.
