Need help getting approved while I wait for green card to process
Looking for a home loan. I have 20% available for a down payment, but am having trouble finding a lender that will work with my situation. I have a SSN and have been in the states for 11 years. More info needed, but in general, in order to get financing, you have to be here legally, and you must have a visa that will be valid for the next 3 years or more. If the visa has expired, then you cannot get financing.. if your visa is only valid for another year, but you anticipate getting your green card before the year is up, then this scenario does not fit within the guidelines..
