Contact your exiting lender... the laws can be different from state to state.. your lender should be able to advise you properly.. Also, the title company should be able to show you how you took title.. it's possible that the deed transfers automatically if one of the borrowers is deceased.. .. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish by doing this, you are the only surviving person obligated on the loan so you are, by default, the primary borrower. This will not make any difference on your credit report or title to your home. If you could explain further why this is important to you I may have a different answer, but thinking your lender will look at it ask "why bother".
