i do not know who currently even has my mortgage by hialea7462719 from West Kingston, Rhode Island. Feb 19th 2015
It's whoever you make the mortgage payment to. You still should be getting a mortgage statement each month. who do you send your payment to is the person who has your loan.
Mike is correct. Whoever you make your payments to.
You should have recd paperwork showing where your loan went when it was sold. There might be a servicing company that has your loan, they collect the payments like a mortgage loan bank..
Hi if you need to refinance then call me I can help you. You will need to know your current mortgage servicer so I can get a payoff. Robert Oliveira Province Mortgage 508 802 0935 or roliveira@provincemai.com
Mortgages get sold all of the time, look at your statement, or if you have automatic payments set up, look at your bank statement. You do not need to refinance with the current company who holds your mortgage (who you make payments to), you can refinance with any other company. Just in case you were looking to contact them to apply for a refinance. Also, if you have already begun your refinance process your (to-be) new lender can look that information up for you.
You can use any lender you wish when it comes to refinancing.. and in most cases, your better off NOT using your existing lender when doing so.. Since they already have a "captured customer".. they usually don't offer the best deal to existing clients, only new ones.. The best advice I can give you is to contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Once they see your complete loan profile, they will be better equipped to advise you properly. Also, by applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with many lenders with each one offering a different type of lending program. This is unlike the local bank which typically only has a few lending programs. The more lenders, the more lending options, and the more likely your scenario will be accepted.. Plus, the broker is experienced in seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario, and he has lower overhead which typically results in lower rates and fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
