That's probably a glitch.. if your BK is dismissed, then you should be able to get this corrected and you should be able to move forward.. Your current mortgage company or any "Big Bank" for that matter, usually will not help you with a situation like this.. they wont take the time to try and fix it for you, but if you were dealing with a mortgage broker, typically they will aid you in getting stuff like this corrected. You can contact the government yourself, or have your attorney do it, or you can contact a local mortgage broker and get your file moved to them.. and they can help.. I disagree, it does not have to do with the type of lender (bank vs. broker) it is the individual mortgage loan officer. There are plenty of mortgage "brokers" who would not take the time to help you through it either.
