As Jack responded, it is possible with alternative credit (credit that doesn't show on credit report). Be sure to speak with a Lender that specializes in this type of loan, as it has requirements that a loan with traditional credit does not. Good Luck!!!

Very likely that is ok, as long as there isn't anything negative in his report (sounds like unlikely). Sometimes the alternative credit isn't needed, especially if you have been together for the past 2 years. That will depend on the details and overall strength of your application, the type of mortgage, as well as what lender you use - some have more flexibility than others to offer the option of not requiring alternative credit for him.
