It's possible.. There are guidelines that pertains to work history and other guidelines that pertain to proof of income/ability to repay. Certain loan programs only require 1 years tax returns.. and If you worked as a civil engineer prior to coming to USA for more than 1 year, then you have met the "Work History" guideline, but you might need to provide an explanation for the job gap.. the best advise I can give you would be to contact a mortgage broker/banker and apply with them.. once they see the complete loan profile, they should be able to advise you.. stay away from the big box banks on the corner.. they have a very limited selection of loan products, and the loan officers typically do not have the proper education to analyze your complex loan scenario. I'm a preferred Lender with Arizona and California being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
