Medical Issues Preventing Payments

My neighbor that I care for has been in a coma for 4 months now. I was just assigned executor of her estate. Would I be able to remove her from the loan based on her medical condition? She has been getting foreclosure notices. I don't want her to lose the house and she has no living relatives. Thanks. by jnolan784 from Jasper, Florida. Feb 11th 2019 Reply

Hi,No, you can't remove her from the loan. There are options. You would need to be added to title then do a rate and term refi. Of course, you would have to have had a document from her agreeing to that before. If not, you would need to purchase it from her. The problem is that there needs to be a representative advocating for her interest. Call me if you want to talk further. 561-376-4583Ed

First,,, NO.. you cannot get her removed from the loan. Nor could you be added to her loan without her permission. If you are executor of the estate, then your responsibility would be to contact the lender and and advise them of the issue. Also, if you are the executor, then you have access to her bank accounts,,, if so, you can make up the back payments on her behalf, thus avoiding the foreclosure. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893
