Looking to refinance double wide on 1 + acres
I currently have a 30yr VA Loan in Sabattus, ME looking for a lower interest rate. Was working with a mortgage company & was progressing nicely until they realized that it was a manufactured loan and they did not make these by fugere_308_843 from Sabattus, Maine. Nov 22nd 2012

Although limited, there are still lenders that will do a manufactured home on 1+ acres using FHA/VA. I have only one in Arizona for VA and five for FHA. You will want to work with a local Mortgage Banker/Broker. The big banks and national mortgage factories won't help you. Make sure you tell them up-front it is a manufactured home. You may also have to consider converting to FHA if you cannot find one willing to do VA.
