Looking for a loan on manufactured property that is on a rented lot.

Hello Sarah, there are several lenders that are available that do manufactured homes. I would recommend that you contact a mortgage professional in your area. You can find at www.namb.org (this is the national mortgage professional association) Put your state in the drop down box on the right and hit search and the names of local mortgage brokers should pop up. That should help and get you started.

That type of loan is not considered a mortgage.. Mortgages are only issued on "Real Property".. meaning, a home or building that is affixed to the land it sits on.. to find financing on a MFH, you can try going to the local MFH dealers and ask them who they use for financing.. or you can go into the park and ask some of the folks who live there who they are financed with.. or you can get on line and search for MFH lenders..
