Two things you can do to try and find a lender.. First, in the upper right corner of this page, select the "community" tab, select "Find a Lender", then type in your zip code, and you should get a list of local lenders.. You can also go to Google and type in your zip code and "Mortgage Broker".. Brokers are your best bet because brokers deal with numerous lenders ( I have 21) with each one offering a different set of lending programs.. the more lenders, the more lending options then the greater likelihood your loan scenario will be accepted.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. I would start with a local mortgage company; they may have good connections for you.

For a true construction loan you will get the best terms from your local bank or credit union. You will then need to get a permanent loan after the home is completed to pay off the construction loan and going with a local mortgage banker/lender/broker will be your best bet for that type of loan.

Constructions loans are best obtained from a local bank or credit union in your area. Once your construction is complete you will need to get a permanent loan in which you would go to a more traditional mortgage banker or broker to get a traditional loan.
