loans for people with a foreclosure

I have a 700 credit score, good income, and around $40k to put down. However i had a bankruptcy discharged in 2008 and had a foreclosure. Do I have a chance of getting a mortgage. I was in a business that went under, causing the bankruptcy. by rharris2034 from Powell, Ohio. May 16th 2011 Reply

when was the foreclosure dated? If 3 years have elapsed, then you should be able to obtain financing, as long as you can document and verify your income, and your credit and credit history are acceptable. What was the reason for the BK and foreclosure? I am a direct lender and I can help point you in the right direction to purchase your next home. Contact me if you have any further questions. Good luck!
