living/working in store front of mixed use property

The private seller of a mixed use property in lower Manhattan is insisting that I can work/live in the bottom half of the property, which is intended / zoned for business use only. Is there a way I can find out if this is legal or get a copy of the zoning laws? by bowmanbs661 from New York, New York. Jun 24th 2019 Reply

You would need to call the city zoning department and ask them.. or you could go to their website and look it up.. Understand that NY's zoning laws are very complex and there's lots of legal language.. If you don't understand or need help, it might help to contact an attorney and ask them to look into it for you.. Regardless, here's Manhattan's zoning webpage. https://www1.nyc.gov/site/planning/zoning/index-map.page, I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893
