lenders advice on the best secured credit card with a grace period and lowest fees and interest rates

Hi I am wanting advice from any lenders that know for sure what the very best secured credit card is to apply for with a grace period of course lowest annual fee or none if possible. I am trying to re-establish my credit with a low score so I need advice on which ones would report monthly to all credit bureaus and lowest interest and fees of any. Thank you so much. by tracy._523_815 from Reeds Spring, Missouri. Feb 12th 2013 Reply

Hi Tracy! If you visit my profile and check out my Blog on building credit, you'll find great resources to help get you started. Working with a Trusted Mortgage Professional through this process would be my best advice! I'm not an expert in the lending field but, have you tried CapitalOne?They have both secured and unsecured and report to all three agencies. They focus on those trying to rebuild credit, especially after bankruptcy.I'd call them first. Don't let them do a hard pull on your credit until you tell them your situation first.

I usually suggest Capital One but do your research and see who has the best deal for you.

We are not credit card people, we are all mortgage loan officers. There are credit card web sites that can answer that question. Good luck.

Often credit unions will have good options, you need to shop that directly yourself - generally mortgage lenders are not experts on what is available in every market. Another option for building your credit is a securred loan - again often the best option is through a local credit union. I have a blog on this site I call "first steps" which has some good advice for borrowers in your situation. Good luck.
