No.. in fact, you probably wont be able to do a home equity loan for at least 7 to 10 years.. 2nd position loans are inherently much more risky than first position.. so lender's offering 2nd's will oftentimes have higher underwriting standards.. including higher credit scores and fewer derogatory exceptions. Additionally, even if you didn't have the BK.. you wouldn't find anyone willing to go 100%.. The only exception in all of this is VA financing.. if you were in the military.. and you have VA benefits available to you, then you can do a 100% cash out refinance.. but the wait could be 1 to 2 years depending on the type of BK you filed. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
