Probably not.. Most mortgage funding goes through wire transfers and all wire transfers go through the Federal Reserve, and they are closed on federal holidays.. Also, lenders will not release the funding unless the deed's have been recorded.. again handled through your County Assessors office, which would be closed on federal holidays.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

It is possible if the lender allows it and dates the documents for that day.

It would be tough, most title company's and lenders are closed on the federal holidays as they can not send money for loans to close.

I'll add that if the attorney is open you can possibly close, but the money for the mortgage would not actually be released until the next business day. If it is a refinance of your home, that would not be an issue.

We have a loan closing on Columbus Day. It is a collaborative effort between us the lender and the Title Company. It is not difficult.
