More information will be needed. There is a way to refinance a current FHA loan with out an appraisal if you are staying with FHA.

More info needed, but in general, if your loan is an FHA loan now, then FHA does not require an appraisal if you're doing a "Streamline Refinance"... There are other types of refinance options with FHA that might require an appraisal, but Streamlines do not. Now this is an FHA guideline, but understand that FHA does not lend money.. they only insure loans against default.. each lender can add their own "Overlay" type guidelines above what FHA calls for... This is what makes lending rules different one lender from another.. so if you are doing an FHA streamline refi, and your lender is asking / mandating an appraisal, then you should contact a different lender. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
