You are in a Chapter 13, right? I don't see why not but I would look at alternatives. With a bi-weekly plan you are (most likely) paying a fee for the privilege of making about an extra house payment per year. You can do this yourself for nothing. Additionally, most bi-weekly plans are set up to where you make the payments to a 3rd party who in turn pays your lender. What happens if the 3rd party goes out of business? I would say to deduct half of your house payment every 2 weeks or so (when you get paid) and make your payment at the first of the month. When you get to the point where you have an extra half-payment 'banked', send it in as an additional principal payment.

Charlie is exactly on target on this. Bi-weekly payments are simply a service to help YOU budget, and you get charged for the privilege of that service holding your money and making 1/2 extra payment 2x a year.. Follow his advice and handle it yourself, even if you pay bi-weekly, the money isn't applied to the mortgage except the 2 months of the year when you get paid 3x.
