Investment Properties/ Vacation Homes

What states currently have the lowest interest rates? Id Like to purchase a home to use for vacation/investment. I know this is not the best time to be purchasing a home...should i wait another year?I live in California but I am willing to look at homes in a different state by bobmills from Beverly Hills, California. Picking a vacation home site based on interest rate seems a bit odd don't you think? While there may be slight variances in rates by state, for the most part, they are the same. There is really no appreciable difference that would warrant choosing one destination over another and certainly not one that would outweigh location, location, location. I would suggest you change your selection criteria.

Hello Bob. I believe now is the best time to purchase a second home or investment property. We can lend you up to 90% of the purchase price with an amazing interest rate. I would love to send you a FREE quote. Please shoot me an email so that I may better understand your situation. Thanks.

I agree with the others on this forum that you shouldn't be picking your location by interest rates, as the differences in rates are nominal. What might be a factor are property taxes, transfer taxes or other fees, like title insurance, that are assessed, or vary more, by location. Considering those factors, Utah is a great place for investment properties or vacation homes; we don't have any transfer taxes, property taxes are generally pretty low, we attract lots of tourism, our renter base is typically high quantity and quality, and we're a little behind the curve from the rest of the nation with regard to rebounding property values...in short, there are some great deals to be found here, right now. I can get you in touch with a local Realtor who specializes in this sort of purchase, and a property management company for after the purchase if needed, and you can get a free list of pre-screened homes that fit your criteria. Hi Bob,Brett has come the closest so far out of all the answers, but I do not think anyone has asked what you like to do on vacation. If you ski, you may want something in the mountains, if you like the beach, maybe a coastal property etc.. Being a broker as well as a Realtor, I can cover anywhere in CA and all it's many recreational options.Call or email me anytime.Best,Matt Davis PresidentPier West Capital888-PierWest(743-7937) X 701Matt@pierwestcapital.com

I can't believe what you said. Are you saying you would choose any location in the USA for a vacation or 2nd home based upon an interest rate? ..... Happy funding, Rudi
