Our household income is over $170,000 annually, but the mortgage would be in my name only. by jjm772_742_994 from Henderson, Nevada. Nov 17th 2011
Stated income for the most part has gone away. There are no traditional lenders offering this program and several states have made it illegal. Your best bet is to do hard money lending and just do a goggle search for "hard money lenders". First consult with a licensed professional lender to see if a fully documented loan would work instead. If you do go the hard money route work with your licensed lender to put a plan in place to refinance in a year or so.
Stated income loans in the traditional mortgage market no longer exist. I would encourage you to find a local Mortgage Banker/Broker to work with you to determine how much of your income is documentable and can be used. Many times clients will think they won't qualify, and after a little analysis, they in fact do.
