With all other loan factors identical between you and another borrower, same credit score, same income level, same debt load, etc, the interest Rate on a VA loan is among the lowest rates available. If you have decent credit and income/job history, your rate on a conventional loan even with 20% down is likely to be higher than the rate on a Zero-Down VA loan. And even if your credit is a little murky, VA would still, most likely be the better. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Licensed in Arizona, California, Georgia, Oregon, and Washington.
