Whatlnor594,It depends on your credit, income and home value. You have to make sure you paid all payments like you have. Also, rebuilt your credit. Also, might need letter explaining why you filed Chapter 13! It Is worth a look. If you have question you can email or call me. ThanksNik GreenNMLS#1080243
We will talk about all the options available to you now or in the future. Call me anytime today! 651-636-2840 Ext. 15
Yes, this is doable. We can go down to a 500 credit score. Give us a call (952-544-1706), shoot us an email (info@satorimortgage.com) or submit a message through Lender411 directly to us so we can get your email. We will send you rate quotes for free. No credit pull necessary. We simply need a few additional pieces of unobtrusive information.
As long as you can document an on time payment history for the Chapter 13, that bankruptcy in and of itself will not prevent you from getting a new loan. Of course all other requirements for credit score, income, debt ratio, loan-to-value, etc. all still come into play. (651) 552-3681 or online at Minneapolis-Mortgage.net
If your BK has been discharged for only 90 days, i'm not sure why everyone here is saying you can do it.. For conventional financing and FHA, you need to wait 2 years after a dismissed BK, and the lender might have an overlay which would only allow for a "Rate and Term" refi and disallow a "Cash out" Refi, There might be some portfolio loan products out there that might allow for it, but expect the terms to be ugly.. higher rates and higher fees.. FHA does have the "Back to Work" program which allows you to "Purchase" a new home after 1 year, but I know of no Conforming loan product where you can do a cash out refi after 90 post discharged BK 13.. Sorry.. 2 years after a "discharged" BK.. for dismissed Bk's its actually 4 years for conventional, but no specific guidelines for FHA regarding a "Dismissed" bk.. You can definitely refinance. There are some qualification we need to look at. One is home value. I grew up in and around the Excelsior/Lake Minnetonka area. I would be more than happy to take a look at your situation. Shawn Reese763-390-7182NMLS 218102
I just wanted to follow up with you. Were you able to get your questions answered? Shawn ReeseNMLS 218102763-390-7182
Yes, you absolutely can do an FHA refinance as long as you made your last 12 payments on time and meet all other credit and qualifying criteria. You should speak with a local loan officer or two and get pre-approved. Best wishes, Sean
