I have excellent credit, but having trouble getting a loan due to being "temp" status. I work as a consultant. Any help???

More info needed, but in general, temporary employment is not a problem if you've been in a temp type position for more than 2 years.. Also, if your in the same line of work or profession, and have had no large gaps in employment, then there might be an underwriter who might accept you. The best place to start would be a mortgage broker.. brokers have access to numerous lenders with each one with a different set of guidelines.. the more lenders, the more lending options and the greater likelihood your loan scenario will be accepted.
