Do you know your credit score? We deal with a few lender that take lower scores. Thanks, Andrea 215-272-1157 andrea@monumentmortgage.net
Put all your bills on auto payment and make sure you don't miss any!
One of the biggest items lenders look for when approving a loan is credit history. if you have bad credit, it is very unlikely you'll get a mortgage loan. Contact a reputable credit repair company. Many people can significantly improve their scores in just a few months.
Paul - go to www.AnnualCreditReport.com and pull your credit report thru ONE of the 3. Then pull your credit every 4 months for FREE. This is the real consumer website. Or you can sign up for a service, perhaps thru one of your credit cards, or thru i.e. www.MyFico.com We need a 620 for most mortgages, and we have coached people (for FREE) on how to get their scores up. You need 3 active tradelines, so in the "absence" of good credit, the FICO algorhythm looks at your previous "bad" credit as you say. Click on my profile to the left, then click on my email and drop me a note. I would be glad to assist and chat with you. Thanks...Jeff
