Yes. I have done VA loans down to a 550. If you would like to apply, please fill out the quick app which can be found here:https://www.southwestfunding.com/joeg/apply-now/
Maybe... In theory, VA allows for those scores. But score alone does not make a loan approval. In practice, once you get below a 620 on a VA loan, it becomes very difficult to get approved. All you can do is make full application with your local mortgage broker (stay away from the big online VA lenders that show up first in Google!!!!!). They will run your application through the computers, and see if you are lucky enough to get a yes with those scores. For VA loans in MN, WI, and SD. Visit me at www.VAMortgageMN.com
Hi Ballco53412822,The answer is, maybe. Your credit score is really just what gets your foot in the door to talk to a lender. You could meet the lender's minimum credit score requirements & still not be eligible due to the credit history or to your debt to income ratios. Another factor is whether or not a lender can get your application & credit approved through an automated underwriting system VS having to do a manual underwrite.I specialize in VA financing & can do VA loans down to a 580 score. | Please feel free to contact me for more information or help. | John Burke | Senior Mortgage Banker | Great Plains National Bank http://www.valoansdoneright.com | (877)228-9069 | Lending in ALL 50 states
