I am trying to get a loan to buy a house. Is there any lenders out there? My scores are average.

I don't know why it says I'm in California. I'm on the opposite coast. I live in Central NY state. I'm trying to get a house in North Carolina. I have about 6 different credit monitoring sites with a varied credit score...anywhere from 599 to 705. I'm about out of my mind trying to figure out where I am as far as scores are concerned and how I can get a loan to purchase a house.

What I would do is look for a local lender in your area who is a direct lender. You will want to go through the pre-approval process with them as they will determine your income which will validate the purchase price and loan amount along with them pulling your credit and getting an accurate credit score to determine what loan programs you will qualify for.Hope this helps.Anthony Digiorno
Thank you Anthony. First straight answer I've gotten. For a first time buyer this is an overwhelming task especially when the professionals are either too busy or just don't give a damn. If you don't fit into their particular program they throw around a lot of jargon and hang up. I will start looking for a local lender and see what I can come up with. I'm not giving up.
