I am newly married and my husband and i are trying to get out of our apartment to buy a home but i have no credit, and he has a low score.

I have just graduated and have no credit, we've tried to get a loan and have had no luck, is there a way we can get into a home for no money down with our bad credit? by adrake9972 from Altus, Oklahoma. Apr 21st 2011 Reply

Is there a mother, father, broether, sister who could be a non-occupant co-borrower (basically a co-signer)? What does no credit mean? There are things you can do fairly quickly that can raise scores...and are legal. His score is bad - why? There are programs that allow for low scores - but it depenrds on % down. Feel free to e-mail me and i would be happy to help. Good luck, Mike see profile for e-mail address, thanks.

There is a FHA program with 3.5% down, with scores down to a 530. But you can not have any lates on any bills. There is another program in California with 97% loan, and a second to cover the rest, which is non payable, you pay it off when you sell or refi. What state are you in? Feel free to contact me and I can give you more information. Good Luck!

HI-There are still programs available for alternative credit and no credit score. You would have to have a CDIB card and/or have a Native American roll number. If you have either of the above please feel free to call me at 918.682.9037.Sincerely,Nick Moore
