Well...looks like you are looking for any type of assistance that may be available. I would start by looking at the City you would like to purchase in. Many cities offer down payment assistant programs and many are out of funds or just did not have any...then expand your search to County and then state..as you did not mention where you are located I am not able to direct you. Vets can purchase at 100% financing. Rural locations also have 100% financing. FHA is next with a min. 3.5%...though in Ca. there is a program that works with FHA and only requires .5% down. Conventional financing is also available at 3% down. Feel free to contact me for a no obligation consultation. 877-369-4319

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provides urban areas with annual grants for the revitalization of communities and neighborhoods. Entitlement communities develop their own programs and funding priorities. However, priority is given to benefit low- and moderate-income persons. The community issuing the grant may also carry out activities which aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight. You would have to contact the city in which you live to identify the qualifications for your particular area. You can check out the following site for a field office near you. http://www.hud.gov/offices/cpd/about/staff/fodirectors/
