This will be difficult but we can talk abou getting your scores up to 580 and moving forward from there.Call or email me when you have time and we can chat.
If you have 25% to 30% down payment, I can help you.
Hi Marie, I have heard of lenders offering this, but I haven't heard of anyone actually getting one. Check around a little more and talk to a lender or two, but more than likely it would be advantageous to start working on the items bringing your score down.
Contrary to what you might see... even if a lender can offer a loan at a 550 score (very few do), there are generally other things on the credit report that will still get you denied. You would be better advised to work on credit repair first, and when that process is completed, then attempt mortgage financing. www.SaintPaulMortgageBroker.com
I've heard lenders say they can do that in the past, but am unaware of a lender that has actually done it. Bottom line here is this: Your score is low because your credit history indicates you will not be a good risk for someone to lend you thousands of dollars. Do yourself a HUGE favor and talk to a HUD Approved Housing Counselor and find out what you need to do to fix this. If someone can do it at 550, your are going to pay a big premium in terms of interest rate and closing costs.
Do you have money for a down payment? We go down to a 530 middle credit score (this program is offered nationwide); however, you will need a down payment of at least 10%. If you are eligible for a VA loan, we offer 100% financing down to a 530 middle score. Let's discuss your loan scenario in more detail. Contact me at 800 315 8803.
