Over the time going through the separation and divorce the mortgage payments were late. My credit has dropped due to the late payments. I took over the mortgage payments and have been paying them on time for about 5 months now. Will I get approved for refinancing my home? by settingstandardss... from Norristown, Pennsylvania. Chances of refinancing under A standard conventional or FHA program with mortgage lates during the prior 12 months are very low. it depends on your overall financial picture at the time of application. A mortgage late fyi is payment over 30 days after the due date.Shoot me an email and i will be happy to take a close look and determine whether it is possible. We also have a program for non-prime loans that may be helpful.LHarvey@TWmortgage.com
Hello, first I would like to send my apologies that you are going through this. It sounds like you are doing a terrific job on pulling it all back together. There are not any conventional products that will allow for more than 1 30 day late in the past 12 months. There are non prime mortgages available, however interest rates and fees are typically much higher and many times they are on an arm with pre-payment penalties. Since you have 5 months of on time payments, I would recommend waiting a few more months. I would definitely look at your credit now so we can plan for what needs to be addressed over the next 7 months. You can reach me at pam@mymortgagestore.net if you have any questions. I will be happy to help you review.
