Why would anyone lend to you to purchase a home when you have a proven track record of not paying your bills on time? In essence, this is what your asking a lender to do.. If you have a low credit score, and your being turned down, it's because you either have a lot of collections, judgments, unpaid loans or medical bills, or repossession or bankruptcy.. all which are indicators that your a bad risk.. So if you want to be able to purchase in the future, then you need to contact a credit restoration company and get your credit cleaned up.. open up a few secured credit cards and make sure you make your payments on time.. after a year or two, you might raise your credit score enough to purchase.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. By law - lender must prove that borrowers have the "Ability to Repay." We are given guidence on how to do this and one of the biggest tools we have is your credit report. After all, the best way to predict what someone will do in the future is to look at what they have done in the past. Cleaning up your credit will not only put you in a position to buy a home, it will also allow you to feel great about yourself and and not have the burden of debt on you. NOW is when you need to start working on your credit - I would suggest doing a WEB search for free credit counseling agencies in your area. These are the best - I would avoid "Quick Fix" credit repair, as my experience is that they don't work. Remember - you probably didn't get into credit trouble overnight, therefore you will not be able to get out of it overnight. Good luck to you.
