How To Get Dispute Off My Fannie Mae Report

OK so my question got cut off. For those of you asing for more information. My previous servicer was Litton Loans and I filed a complaint with Fannie Mae on the way they were doing things. Now I am trying to get the HARP program and being told that Fannie Mae is declining me because of the dispute with Litton Loans. I had no idea that this would even show up on any credit reports but anyway I no longer have Litton so I need to make the dispute go away and fast. by viport_755_267 from Chandler, Arizona. Pretty much the same answer applies.. the question is did you dispute with Fannie Mae, or did you dispute through the credit bureaus.. if you disputed through the credit bureaus, then my answer above still applies.. If you disputed through Fannie Mae, then you need an experienced loan officer to help you through this process.. disputes directly with Fannie Mae are a little different and require a lot of work to get everything cleared so you can get your approval... as I stated earlier, you need to reach out to an experienced loan officer who is local, and ditch the bank your using.. .. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Fairly simple. We would get what's called a credit supplement. You write a short note saying that you are no longer disputing this account. The credit agency that we use will then call LItton to confirm, and a supplement is issued removing the dispute. Underwriter is happy, you get your loan! Let me know if I can help.Good luck.Sincerely,Mike WaldServe-U-Best Mortgage, LLC 10745 E Clinton St.Scottsdale, AZ 85259Office 480-259-3867eFax 480-907-2325Cell 480-241-2632 www.serveubestmortgage.com mwald@cox.net

Either William or Mike seem to have their act together on this process. The credit organization they use should be able to do something called a "rapid rescore" -- it requires the steps of your note and contact with the company the dispute was with, but it can be done in about one business week, versus a month or more otherwise. It will cost a bit of money, depending on how many credit bureaus are reporting it.
