How soon after a loan modification can I get a new mortgage loan?

Not sure of your question.. are you looking to refinance the modified loan or are you looking to get another home.. if your looking to refinance, then some lenders have guidelines in place that say you modification must have been 2 years or older and no late payments, and others have guidelines that say if your modification included principal reduction they wont do it.. or if it was a government sponsored modification (HAMP), then they wont do it.. so you're going to have find out the old fashioned way.. pick up the phone, and call a local mortgage broker, and let him look at your complete scenario.. only then will you know for sure..
