The credit score you got from your lender already takes into account inquiries. For any other credit inquiries from other mortgage companies within the next 30 days, your score will not be affect at all.. They are ignored..How much your credit score will drop as a result of your first inquiries is anyone's guess.. each credit report is unique, so for some, the score might not drop at all, while others, it might drop 15 points.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. As a consumer, it's expected that you'll want to shop around. Buying a home, by taking out a home loan, is a big investment. Within 30 days, you will not be dinged for inquiries that are consistent with which type of credit you're shopping for...meaning if all inquiries are for a home loan. However if, within those 30 days, you have inquiries for an auto loan, a home loan, new furniture, etc. your likely to get a hit on your credit scoring.
