I would look into getting a contact with several credit restoration companies for your best answer to you question.
Don't go to a credit restoration company, some make it worse. You have state companies for free that will help but sometimes when we pull a credit analyzer it will show you exactly what to do in order to gain points right away. Email me with any questions. Pamela - priesenberg@financeofamerica.com
More info needed.. but in general.. there is no simple answer.. If you have a 750 and want to raise it by 100, it could take years.. and if you have a 500 credit score and you need 100 points, that could take years as well. Every credit report is different and the reasons for the low score will be different as well. There are situations where you can improve a score in as little as 5 days.. Lets say for example, you have 3 credit cards and each card has a $1000 limit, and you own $1050 on each one.. since you are over your limit on all 3 cards, your score will be very low.. but if you pay the balance down to below $250 on each card, you could see as much as 100 point improvement.. but if you had a recent BK, foreclosure, judgement, collection, etc.. it could be a long time before your score increases by 100 points.. If you get with a local mortgage broker (not the corner bank), and let them run your credit they can analyze it and tell you exactly what you need to do to improve your scores.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Acres, Lender411's number ONE lender in Arizona. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347
Most lenders have access to score improvement models with their credit reporting service provider. Please ask your local mortgage loan originator.
