Depends on the program, whether or not an appraisal is required and the lender(s) involved. If I might be able to answer any add'l questions, I'd be happy to help. Best wishes otherwise, Kimberly Lawson, Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator - Ohio only. Contact and information can be found on my profile.

It depends on whether or not your doing an FHA streamline or some other kind of refi.. with FHA, most lenders will make you wait till the end of the month to close.. this is because FHA charges a full months interest on the first day of the month, but if you close on the 2nd day or later, they will not refund you any pre paid interest.. So if you apply on the 10th of the month, but the lender cannot close it in 3 weeks, then your going to close at the end of the following month, or 7 weeks.. This is unique only to FHA.. all other types of refi's you can close when ever.. As far as closing time, assuming the borrower provides all the requested info on a timely manner, you should be able to close inside of 30 days.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Most competent lenders will tell you from beginning to end is about 30-days. Rare is it much quicker, but it can easily be longer if there are any issues that need to be dealt with. For loans in MN, WI, and SD, visit www.Streamline-Refinance-MN.com
