Most national appraisal companies will set an appointment within 1 to 3 days. After the inspection takes place, the appraisal should be available in 3 to 5 days. Unusual or rural properties may take longer.

Most appraisals can take up to 5 business days. The exception to this is if your property is in a rural area or if it's an appraisal for a VA loan.. When a property is rural, it sometimes takes the lender several days to find an appraiser willing to go the extra distance to complete the job.. and for VA, the appraisal has different standards and rules that drag it out as well..
