There's lots of information out there about FHA's 203K streamline rehab loans, but the better loan is the HomeStyle renovation loan.. This is a Fannie Mae loan product and it less restrictions than the FHA loan product.. In General, FHA has less restrictions on the borrower, but more restrictions on the property.. While FNMA's HomeStyle Renovation loan has more restrictions on the borrower (better credit profile), and less restrictive on the property as well as higher loan limits..
