Go to IRS.gov and look for Form 4506-T. This is the form you would fill out to obtain your transcripts. If you are applying for a mortgage, then the lender will do this for you.. they will fill in the form and send it to you for your signatures.. All conforming loan products will require IRS Transcripts.. and they are all ordered through a 3rd party.. so even if you get your own, the lender will still require you to sign a new 4506-T.. they cannot accept your's (fraud prevention)..
