The only thing I can think of is to have you call the loan servicer and inquire about this. They may have some options, however it is most unlikely. Does not hurt to call and find out.
Probably not.. You can remove yourself from the "Ownership" of the property via Warranty Deed or Disclaimer Deed, but if you want to be removed from the loan, the only way is for that person to refinance in their name only.. I would not recommend you remove yourself from the deed unless the property is refinanced.. There is no benefit to you to be removed if your still on the hook for the mortgage.
