Yes as reflected in one of these answers already provided, if you go to these websites, you can type in your property address (along with a couple other details) and confirm if your loan is owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. It should also tell you the date your loan was "originated," to confirm if you may be eligible for a "HARP" program (Home Affordable Refinance Program). As to whether or not a refinance using this program (or another) would make sense for you, it would be best to consult with a qualified loan professional to run the numbers.
