You VA funding is based on a few different factors... Your Loan Officer can break it down for you, or you can look at http://va-irrrl-loan-mn.com/va-funding-fee.html for more info. The fee can be paid in cash, but more people roll it into the loan itself.
You should be able to look at this link and see the VA Funding Fee. http://benefits.va.gov/homeloans/documents/docs/funding_fee_table.pdfYou are also welcome to give me a phone call and I will gladly discuss with you, your options.
The VA funding fee is variable based on your service type, prior use of benefits and whether or not your a disabled vet.. in any case, the funding fee, if there is one.. can be financed. As far as what you would qualify for, you will need to talk to a mortgage broker and let him look at your complete loan scenario/profile to determine how much of a home you can buy.. .. Hi Ghitacozo,Your VA Funding Fee will be determined by your service, if you were in the reserves it's a little higher. The good news is you can actually finance your VA FF in your loan so you don't need to come up with out of your pocket. It will sent to VA by the lender once your loan closes.
