Highly unlikely you will get any relief this late in the game.. if there's even a possibility, you will need to be very proactive.. try contacting the VA or HUD and see if there is anything that can help.. if your in a position to where you cannot afford the payments any more, then you might want to consider a short sale.. this will at least somewhat preserver your credit and make it easier in the future if you decide you wish to purchase another home..
