Hello I am in Texas I am a first time home buyer will I have to take a home buyers course for a bond program?

Each program has specific requirements.. but most of them will require you take some sort of home buyer education class. There's one class online that takes about 20 minutes, and there's other classes that require you to be present for 8 hours.. and everything in between.. If you contact a local mortgage broker, he should be able to advise you which program would be necessary based on the bond program your applying for.. The best advice I can give you is to contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them.
