I want to sell my house so I can move out of state to Kansas City, MO. However, the loan on my current house is FHA and I have only had it for 14 months. Is it possible to sell the home? by josephnorca68 from Aurora, Colorado. Sep 10th 2015
Yes there are no restrictions on selling your home. Good luck with your move to MO.
Yes, you can sell your home at any time. FHA loans do not have a pre pay penalty at all; you are free to refinance or sell at any time. In addition, once you move to Kansas City you can apply for another FHA home loan and use any profit from the sell of the previous home for down payment or closing cost funds. You can sell anytime you wish.. the question is do you have enough equity to pay for your selling costs.. and that can only be answered by your local real estate agent. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Hi Joseph, yes you can sell your home with no issues from FHA or your lender. As you know the market is great in Denver. Next step would be finding a Realtor to help you determine what to sell it for and what additional items need to be done to sell. I can refer to a few great Realtors in the Aurora area if you need some good referrals. Best wishes, Sean. Sean.Young@NAFINC.com, 303-521-7169.
There are no restrictions on FHA loans that would keep you from selling it and getting even another FHA loan. No prepayment penalties either.
