Yes we do. My iLoan branch is located right in St Paul and we work with MHFA (and their corresponding DPA programs). Depending on where you're looking you may qualify for a ZERO DOWN loan (USDA) or if you're a current/past member of the military you may qualify for a ZERO DOWN loan (VA). Another great option is the "HUD $100 down" program. Steven Brand 612-386-5306 steve@YourFavoriteMortgageGuy.com

Hey Nicole... Just about any loan officer will work with FTB. Be sure to contact someone local... not one of those long distant lenders... being able to walk into someone's office if you need to is a big plus... But stay away from the Big Banks.. they have very limited lending programs and will usually not work with borrowers with issues... WilliamAcres.com

Nicole. I work with first time buyers all the time and am able to get many of them approved for first time buyer money. If you are looking for St Paul specifically I would consider either the MHFA or City Living programs. However if it is outside of St Paul there are other programs that could work as well. Please give me a call at 763-746-9920 or email me ggetsch@waterstonemortgage.com and I would be more than happy to tell you about all of them.

Every Mortgage Loan Originator works for first time homebuyers. Because this is a new process for you, you want to make sure you are working with someone local. I always recommend working with a local Mortgage Banker instead of the big banks or National mortgage firms. In most cases employees for those organizations are simply order takers. Mortgage Bankers/Brokers employ individuals who are Trained, Tested and Licensed in all aspects of Mortgage Origination. They have access to loan products of many lenders, not just those of one bank, and can properly guide you. But more importantly, they are trained to take a look at the various different options available to you and guide you into the one that makes the best sense for your situation. Don't forget to check out your selected Mortgage Originator at the National Mortgage Licensing System at www.NMLSConsumerAccess.org ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com
