You need 2 years of work in the same industry, with no breaks longer than 30 days.

No you do NOT need 2 years of employment with the same employer. Actually you could only be employed for 1 MONTH and qualify for a mortgage. Depending on your line of work and what your were doing prior to obtaining your job, we have loan programs available for this very scenario. - John A Soricelli Jr. When You Think Mortgage; ThinkJandJ.com.

You do not have to have 2 years with the same employer, but you will need a two year employment history. Typically we would like to see 30 days of paystubs for your current employer. If it is a part-time job, the employer would need to confirm how many hours per week you are scheduled to work.

Hi Jeff, I have actually gotten scenarios like this approved recently. I would love to take a look at what you're working on. David Ortega - Satori Mortgage - 952-544-1706 - dortega@satorimortgage.com - www.SatoriMortgage.com
